Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What are sessions like?

A. In our sessions, we will explore your therapy needs and create a goal to guide our counseling sessions, providing a framework for future sessions and tools for recovery.

Q. I don't feel comfortable talking about certain things in therapy. Will I need to talk about everything?
A. Mental health therapy is a collaborative process. It's about learning how to manage emotions and find tools to help you cope. You will not be made to talk about anything that makes you uncomfortable. Therapy is designed to work at your pace and comfort level, putting you in the driver's seat of your healing journey.

Q. I don't have a lot of money for counseling. How do I afford therapy?
A. There are a variety of ways to make therapy affordable, without compromising on the quality of the services you'll receive. The cash price for sessions is $100 for a 60-minute session and $80 for a 45-minute session. You can also sign up with a one-time membership to Open Path Psychotherapy Collective, which offers high-quality therapy sessions between $40-$70 per session. I also accept many major insurances: Aetna, Anthem, CareSource, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Tricare, ensuring that you can access our valuable services.

Q: Do you provide therapy sessions in-person or virtually?
A: Currently, Whole Heart Therapy LLC only offers virtual sessions in Ohio and Kentucky. If you would rather have in-person sessions, I can refer you to a therapist who offers in-person sessions. Experience the convenience and comfort of receiving therapy from the privacy of your home. This personalized approach ensures you can attend your sessions in a peaceful, private setting, leading to more consistent appointments—therapy in a quiet, private space.
